As the Amicale Facel Vega has confirmed, this car has the production number 149 and was scheduled for delivery on 20 July 1960. When it left the factory, it was finished in red with a black interior and was fitted with sill trim strips and a hardtop, which is no longer present. Sold new to a resident of Nice, in 1991 it turned up in the Gironde with a member of the Amicale Facel Vega. It remained in the area until 2001, when it entered the collection at the château de Vernon after being sold at auction by Me Poulain. This elegant cabriolet had been restored in the past: the body had been repainted and the upholstery retrimmed. Overall, the car is in used condition and will require some cosmetic attention. The hood had also been restored and is in good used condition. The Facellia still has its original Pont-à-Mousson engine (no. 13B151). Between 2010 and the present day, it has covered only 278km; it will need recommissioning and a full service, which is fully deserved given the interest and elegance of this sought-after model.
Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
