On 22 September 2026, Artcurial will present at auction the collection Le goût Rothschild en héritage, Un pied-à-terre sur le Champ-de-Mars (The Rothschild Taste Legacy: A foothold on the Champ-de-Mars). The auction reveals the richness of collections assembled over several generations of the Rothschild family. Furniture, decorative arts, Old Master paintings, works of art, books and autographs make up an exceptional collection, reflecting a legacy of taste passed down through the generations. The accumulation of distinguished provenances lends the collection its exceptional character.

Held from July 6th to 8th 2026 at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, Artcurial’s Monaco Auction Week totalled €16M across its prestige auctions: Le Temps est Féminin (Ladies’ Watches), Important Watches, Jewellery, Hermès & Luxury Bags, and Monaco Sculptures.

To mark this anniversary, we look back at the key moments that have shaped the history and development of the Urban department, highlighting its decisive role in the evolution of this movement.

On 5th February 2027, Artcurial Motorcars will present in Paris one of the most remarkable private collections ever offered on the European market.

Entitled “In Praise of Excellence”, this auction will bring together the entire collection assembled by Thierry Dehaeck over more than four decades of passion, meticulous research and unwavering dedication.

Estimated at €15–25 million, this exceptional ensemble comprises 60 collector cars, more than 100 Automobilia items, and a spectacular 1953 carousel of extraordinary scale.

True to its spirit of innovation and its constant attention to developments in the art market, Artcurial is organising its first auction devoted entirely to ceramics. Entitled Earth & Fire: Ceramics, the sale will take place on October 23rd, during Ceramic Art Fair + Glass and Art Basel Paris.

Kept out of public view for more than sixty years in Kees van Dongen’s studio, the portrait of Brigitte Bardot painted in 1959 reappears today. This large-format oil on canvas (130 x 97 cm), set against a yellow background of an intensity characteristic of the artist’s palette, comes directly from his estate. 

Estimated at €800,000 - 1,200,000, this work by van Dongen will be one of the highlights of the Selected 20/21 auction organised by Artcurial on October 24th, 2026, alongside Art Basel Paris. 

Between unspoilt authenticity, wild beaches and a relaxed way of life

On June 16th and 17th, Artcurial will present its Furniture & Works of Art auction, followed on July 10th by L’œil d’un érudit, Une collection européenne, a unique collection assembled by a discerning collector.

On October 24th, 2026, during Art Basel Paris, Artcurial will auction Louis Grandchamp des Raux's collection, La Modernité en partage, a testament to a discerning yet sensitive eye, shaped over twenty years of passionate collecting.

This September in Paris, Artcurial will present the African and Oceanic art collection assembled by Belgian collector Jean-Jacques Rotthier from the 1970s onwards. Comprising major Songye, Kuyu, Luba and Djenné works, this exceptional ensemble will be revealed in its entirety for the first time during Parcours des Mondes.

From May 19th to 21st, 2026, the Art Deco / Design, Italian Design, Limited Edition and Zao Wou-Ki auctions totaled over €8.1M. Among the highlights, a rare Singe attentif II by François-Xavier Lalanne achieved €1,438,000, alongside major results for Claude Lalanne, Gustave Eiffel, Pierre Dunand, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Zao Wou-Ki.

On the occasion of its upcoming auction, the Asian Art department at Artcurial is inaugurating a new curatorial cycle entitled “Dialogues — Echoes of the Classical and Contemporary Perspectives”, conceived as a space of transition and resonance between heritage and creation. 

This first edition highlights the Chinese artist Liu Wenqi, whose porcelain works engage in dialogue with a group of Qingbai porcelains from the Song dynasty presented in the auction. 

Sculpture+ is an educational endowment fund based at the Musée Maillol. Dedicated to promoting sculpture in all its forms, it brings together patrons—both individuals and companies—who are passionate about art and culture.

Sculpture+ is launching an annual series of Hypotheses and Demonstrations, inviting museum professionals to share their experiences, reflections, and research with the public around a common theme.

From May 26th to 31st, Artcurial is taking part in the ‘Journées Marteau’, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, an initiative of SYMEV (the French National Union of Voluntary Auction Houses), designed to introduce you to the world of auctions. 

On May 21st, 2026, Artcurial will present a selection of works by the legendary artistic duo Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne, as part of its Art Deco / Design auction. Their poetic and dreamlike universe remains one of the most singular expressions of 20th-century design. 
Among the highlights, the sale features a rare Singe attentif II by François-Xavier Lalanne, alongside a remarkable ensemble of lighting pieces by Claude Lalanne from the same private collection.

Following the success of the previous editions, Artcurial’s Monaco Auction Week returns to the Principality this summer and invites you to the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo from July 4th to 8th.

Five prestigious auctions will be held: Important Watches, Le Temps est Féminin (Ladies’ Watches), Jewellery, Monaco Sculptures and Hermès & Luxury Bags, featuring exceptional pieces.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a Post-Impressionist painter, an Art Nouveau illustrator and a remarkable lithographer. He captured the lifestyle of the Parisian bohemian scene at the end of the 19th century and was considered “the soul of Montmartre,” the Parisian district where he lived.

On April 16th and 17th, 2026, Impressionist & Modern and Post-War & Contemporary auctions reached a total of €9,108,015. 

On May 11th and 12th, 2026, Artcurial will present its auctions dedicated to Antiquities & Islamic Art. 

Artcurial’s Old Master & 19th Century Art department presented on March 25th and 26th, 2026, a remarkable selection of paintings, drawings, and sculptures which, under the hammer of Matthieu Fournier, achieved a total of €5,581,187.

From April 15th to 24th, 2026, Artcurial will present the photography exhibition Frida Kahlo & Leo Matiz. One Gaze, Two Souls at its Milan venue. The exhibition is curated by Paola Colombari in collaboration with the Leo Matiz Foundation (Mexico City).

Organized by Artcurial Motorcars at the Artcurial auction house, the auction of Ferrari agent Fritz Neuser’s collection took place on Sunday, March 15th, under the Paris sun. Collectors and enthusiasts gathered in large numbers to attend this session, which was completely full. The result reflects the strong interest generated: €5M, with 100% of the lots sold. 

Paris on April 16th and 17th, 2026, Artcurial will be holding a series of important auctions dedicated to Modern & Contemporary Art. 

Bringing together major works spanning the entire 20th century, these auctions offer a panorama of the most relevant artistic transformations, from Impressionism to the most contemporary expressions.

On March 11th 2026, Artcurial Beurret Bailly Widmer held its annual auction in Basel, featuring Swiss Art, International Art before 1900, and Important Watches. Art lovers and collectors turned out in force, whether in the auction room, by telephone, or online. In total, the three sales reached CHF 4.9M (€5.4M).
