A medium-sized luxury saloon, the Conquest Century had a 100bhp six-cylinder engine, which enabled it to reach 90mph. This example is a DJ250 model, denoting four doors and five seats, and is equipped with a pre-selector gearbox. Undoubtedly destined for the home market, with right-hand drive and a speedometer reading in miles, it had been owned since 1990 by a Daimler collector in Paris when Jean-Pierre Nylin acquired it in 2002. The car had undergone a complete restoration, the extent of which can still be appreciated today: it included the chassis, bodywork, upholstery, mechanical components and electrical system. In 2009, at its last safety inspection, the odometer was reading 70,176 miles, as it is today. This car, which is rare in France, will need to be serviced and recommissioned before its new owner can enjoy its beautiful interior with its typically English luxury fittings.

Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
