- Left-hand drive
- Beautiful patinated interior
- Powerful 4.5L engine, large sunroof
- No reserve
First registered in 1953, this Bentley Type R was registered in the Loiret department in 1965, then passed into the hands of a collector from Aix-en-Provence in 1987. This elegant saloon car was then sold at auction under the hammer of Mr. Poulain in 1995, when it joined the collection of Jean-Pierre Nylin. Originally European, this is an interesting left-hand drive – fitted with an automatic transmission and displaying a mileage of 35,057 km in 1995 (the mileage was at 37,815 km during our inspection). The bodywork was previously repainted, whereas the upholstery seems original. The car will require a restart and a full service, before the new owner can fully enjoy its luxurious interior (brightened by a large sunroof) and the refined silence of its powerful 4.5L engine.
Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
