En signant, en 1972, le dessin de la Ferrari 365 GT/4, qui allait devenir la Ferrari 400, Paolo Martin chez Pinifarina montre tout son talent : la ligne tendue est sobre, élégante, intemporelle et traduit parfaitement le statut élevé de cette sportive de luxe. A tel point que, de la 365 GT/4 à la 412, ce modèle a connu une carrière exceptionnellement longue, ne disparaissant du catalogue de la marque qu'en 1989. Son habitacle spacieux, confortable et luxueusement fini est tendu de cuir jusqu'au ciel de toit.

La voiture présentée est une des rares premières versions de ce modèle réalisé uniquement pour l’Europe entre 1976 et 1979, elle totalise 90 000 km compteur et est équipée de la boîte automatique, des vitres électriques et de la climatisation bi-zone avec commande pour les passagers arrière. Le plafonnier est recouvert de cuir Conolly de couleur crème et le reste de la sellerie est d’origine excepté pour le tableau de bord qui a été refait chez le sellier Caribex en 2022. La même année, elle fit l’objet d’une peinture complète de belle qualité et elle reçut un train de pneus neufs Michelin. En 2024, elle fut confiée au garage Dino Sport pour une importante révision pour plus de 10 000 €. Un dossier de factures et un manuel de bord accompagne cette désirable GT de 340 ch.

When Paolo Martin at Pininfarina designed the Ferrari 365 GT/4 in 1972—a model that would later become the Ferrari 400—he was showing off the full extent of his talent: the clean, taut lines are understated, elegant, and timeless, perfectly reflecting the high status of this luxury sports car. So much so that, from the 365 GT/4 to the 412, this model enjoyed an exceptionally long production run, remaining in the brand’s lineup until 1989. Its spacious, comfortable, and luxuriously finished interior is upholstered in leather all the way up to the headliner.

The car shown here is one of the few early versions of this model, produced exclusively for the European market between 1976 and 1979. It has 90,000 km on the odometer and is equipped with an automatic gearbox, power windows, and dual-zone climate control with controls for the rear passengers. The headliner is covered in cream-colored Conolly leather, and the rest of the upholstery is original, except for the dashboard, which was reupholstered by Caribex in 2022. That same year, it was given a complete, high-quality paint job and fitted with a set of new Michelin tires. In 2024, it was taken to Dino Sport for a major overhaul costing over €10,000. A folder of invoices and an owner's manual accompany this desirable 340-horsepower GT.
