This particular Corvette C1 began its life in the USA and an old registration document indicates that it was owned by a woman from Chicago between 1979 and 1986; a file of invoices relates to this period. Exported in 1989, it was found in the hands of a collector from Paris in 1992. It then joined this collection in June 1996, acquired by Jean-Pierre Nylin from Mr. Poulain. Finished in “Ermine White” colour with metallic blue side panels and matching upholstery, it also comes with a rare hardtop. As evidenced by invoices and a file of images, a full engine rebuild was carried out in 2012. The following year, the car displayed a mileage of 14,570 km, 9 km less than what it currently has. Fitted with an automatic transmission, this Corvette will therefore need a restart and a full service before returning to the road. Its colour combination and beautiful patinated interior will definitely appeal to enthusiasts of this model.
Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
