In 1964, the Mexican firm DINA successfully obtained the licence to build and sell Alpine’s cars in Mexico. It produced the A110 berlinette under the name ‘Dinalpin’, first as an 1100 until 1971, then as a 1300. 508 such cars were built, 200 of them 1100s. This example left the Hidalgo factory in 1971. It is noted as being white in a change of ownership document from April 1972. Imported into France at the end of the 2000s, it was bought at auction by Jean-Pierre Nylin in February 2010. Repainted in the past in its current shade of metallic blue, the body appears to be original. The upholstery had been retrimmed in black leatherette, probably at the same time. The dashboard is complete, except for the radio. The engine is fitted with a twin-choke 46 DCOE carburettor and an aluminium rocker cover. This berlinette is equipped with wide steel wheels and has covered only 22km since 2013; it will require recommissioning and a complete service before its dynamic abilities can be enjoyed to the full.

Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
