Cette 16M fut vendue neuve le 24 juillet 2009 à Rome par l’intermédiaire de la Samocar, concessionnaire Ferrari de la capitale italienne. Elle ne fut que peu utilisée par son premier propriétaire, si bien que lorsqu'elle fut révisée par la Samocar en mai 2012 elle n’avait que 6 795 kilomètres.

Elle fut ensuite immatriculée à Monaco puis importée en France en mai 2014, elle avait alors à peine 12 000 km, avant d’être achetée par son précédent propriétaire en décembre 2014.

Ce dernier était un grand collectionneur de la côte basque qui possédait aussi la 599 GTO de la collection que nous présentons. Il fit entretenir la voiture régulièrement notamment par Modena Sport concessionnaire Ferrari de Toulouse. Notre collectionneur de Ferrari en édition limitée lui a acheté la voiture en 2021 en même temps que sa 599 GTO.

Détail amusant, le précédent propriétaire était passionné aussi bien, par les Ferrari rares que par la grande musique. Il avait remplacé l'autoradio d’origine pour une meilleure qualité de son. Le propriétaire actuel nous a confié qu'il n'avait pu écouter que la fantastique mélodie du V8 au volant de sa 16M raison pour laquelle Il a fait remettre l'autoradio d'origine. Il a confié la voiture au Garage Trident en 2023 et 2025 alors qu’elle avait 20 674 km.

Ce modèle est particulièrement exclusif. En effet, à la suite de son seizième titre au Championnat du Monde des Constructeur obtenu en 2008, Ferrari avait souhaité célébrer dignement l'évènement et avait lancé cette version spéciale de la F430 Scuderia Spider. La Scuderia était déjà une voiture extrêmement performante, mais Ferrari a réussi à faire encore mieux. La voiture a été allégée de 80 kg et le V8 à 32 soupapes, relié à une boîte F1 robotisée à sept rapports, comportait une distribution variable en continu. La puissance atteignait 510 ch à 8 500 tr/mn, ce qui permettait à ce bolide de passer de 0 à 100 km/h en 3,7 s, avec une vitesse maxi de 315 km/h. La voiture bénéficiait d'un aménagement spécial avec sièges sport offrant un excellent maintien, compte-tours gradué jusqu'à 10 000 tours et compteur de vitesses jusqu'à 360 km/h. Cette redoutable machine n’a été produite qu’à 499 exemplaires seulement, ce qui en fait une pièce rare.

En plus du caractère extrêmement exclusif de ce modèle, le présent exemplaire se présente dans un superbe état général et affichait au moment des photos 20 820 km. Il est bien sûr accompagné des manuels d'utilisation et carnet d'entretien d'origine, ainsi que son DVD de présentation, et sa maquette en métal, et ne demande qu'à reprendre la route entre les mains d'un amateur qui saura en apprécier les performances d'exception, tout en profitant de la possibilité de rouler capote baissée.

This 16M was sold new on the 24th of July 2009 in Rome through Samocar, a Ferrari dealership in the Italian capital. It was rarely driven by its first owner, to the extent that its mileage was only 6,795 kilometres when it was serviced by Samocar in May 2012.

It was subsequently registered in Monaco and then imported to France in May 2014, at which point it barely had 12,000 km on the clock before being purchased by its previous owner in December 2014.

The latter was a major collector from the Basque Coast and also owned the 599 GTO from the collection we are offering. The car was serviced regularly, notably by the Ferrari dealership Modena Sport in Toulouse. As an enthusiast of limited-edition Ferrari cars, our collector acquired it from him in 2021 (at the same time as his 599 GTO)

Interestingly, the previous owner was as much an enthusiast of rare Ferrari cars as he was of classical music. He therefore replaced the original car radio to improve the sound quality. The current owner confided that he could only hear the fantastic melody of the V8 engine while driving his 16M, which is why he had the original car radio reinstalled. He entrusted the car to Garage Trident in 2023 and 2025, when its mileage was at 20,674 km.

This model is especially exclusive. After winning its sixteenth World Constructors’ Championship in 2008, Ferrari wanted to celebrate the event in proper style and launched this special version of the F430 Scuderia Spider. The Scuderia was already an extremely fast car, but Ferrari succeeded in doing better still. The weight of the car was reduced by 80 kg (176 lb) and the 32-valve V8, mated to a seven-speed F1-type robotized gearbox, had continuously variable valve timing. Its maximum power of 510 bhp at 8500 rpm allowed the car to accelerate from 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 kph (196 mph). The interior was specially equipped with sports seats offering excellent support, a rev counter reading up to 10,000 rpm and a 360 kph (224 mph) speedometer. Only 499 examples of this formidable machine were built, making it an extremely rare model.

 

As well as being an extremely exclusive model, this particular example is in stunning overall condition and had a mileage of 20,820 km on the odometer when these photographs were taken. It naturally includes its original owner’s manuals and service logbook, as well as its promotional DVD and metal scale model. It is now ready to hit the road again in the hands of an enthusiast who will appreciate its exceptional performance, all while enjoying the pleasure of driving with the roof down.
