Inspired by the Vantage GT2 and the GTE (racing versions developed by Aston Martin Racing to compete in the World Endurance Championship), the Aston Martin Vantage GT8 is the most radical ‘civilian’ version of the V8 Vantage family. The 4.7L V8 engine from the V8 Vantage S develops 10 more horsepower than the latter, totalling 446 horsepower; but more importantly, a weight-loss programme has enabled it to shed 100 kilograms compared to the Vantage. The chassis was optimised for track use. The aerodynamic kit is also derived from the GTE endurance racing car, with a prominent front spoiler and wide side panels, as well as a massive rear wing and a large diffuser. The interior finish in Alcantara and carbon fibre (including door panels) complements the car's ultra-sporty look. Available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or 7-speed ‘Sportshift’ automatic transmission, the Aston Martin Vantage GT8 was a special edition model limited to 150 examples in total (all transmissions combined), which reinforces the exclusivity of this British athlete.

This particular example bears the number 67 in a series of 150 produced. This is a desirable manual gearbox version. Its configuration is both stunning and sporty: ‘Rosso Corsa’ with black brake callipers and matching optional 7-spoke 19-inch magnesium App Tech wheels, combined with a black leather interior with black and red stitching, mixing Alcantara and carbon fibre. It therefore seems to be the only one in this original configuration. Delivered new by Aston Martin Luxembourg to its first owner on the 7th March 2017, the car was acquired by its second owner in 2019. Like its predecessor, aware of the rarity and exceptional nature of the car, he preferred to preserve it in his collection instead of using it, either on the road or on the track. Acquired by the third and current owner to complete his exceptional collection, it only has a mileage of 300 km since leaving the factory. So much so that the protective plastic covers on the door sills are still intact. The car naturally includes its logbook, spare keys, cover in its branded storage bag and first aid kit. This Aston Martin Vantage GT8 is therefore a truly exceptional example of a rare and exclusive vehicle straight from the factory, already set to become a future collector's item.
