Exploring the possibility of turbine-powered cars inspired by aeronautics in the

mid-1950s, this superb cast aluminium model of the Fiat Turbina prototype is remarkable for its size: 87 x 32 x 25 cm.

Weighing approximately 12 kg, it is a design piece that is as majestic as it is harmonious in its proportions. In its original condition, it has clearly been repainted at some point, as the original red colour can be seen beneath the black paint on and around the flames and the upper part of the beltline.

Underneath, the letter ‘R’ is inscribed in red paint. This extremely rare, authentic and highly decorative piece deserves a place of prominence in a selective collection.
